What is ARC?

ARC is an AI image processing tool developed by Tencent’s ARC (Applied Research Center) lab, providing advanced image and video analysis services. The tool covers a variety of functions including portrait restoration, background removal, animation enhancement, object recognition, and multimodal understanding and generation, helping users optimize image quality, improve visual effects, and achieve intelligent image recognition and analysis. ARC’s main functions

• Portrait restoration : Based on AI technology, it optimizes the texture of portrait photos, making the image more delicate and smooth, the color gradation richer, and the skin tone more natural.
• Portrait cutout : Quickly and accurately separates the portrait from the background in an image to achieve high-quality cutout results, facilitating subsequent image editing and compositing.
• Anime Enhancement : Improves the clarity and sharpness of anime-style images, adapting to different anime styles and enhancing the visual effects.

How to use ARC

• Access platform : Visit the ARC official website https://arc.tencent.com/zh/ai-demos/.
• Register an account : Follow the prompts to complete the account login and registration.
• Select Function : On the platform, select different AI image processing functions, such as portrait restoration, portrait cutout, animation enhancement, etc.
• Upload Image : Select the image you want to process and upload it to the platform.
• Select Model : Choose one from the provided models based on the selected function. For example, in the portrait restoration function, select model V1.2 or V1.3.
• View Results : After processing, view the results on the platform. If satisfied, download the processed image.
• Download image : If the result meets the requirements, download the image to the local device.
